Are the pods refillable?


Nope! Unlike most scent gear, Geo-Sniffing pods don’t need to be refilled.

They’re built to last outdoors for 5+ years, holding their scent through every season — no upkeep, no mess, just play.

Can the pods open?


Nope! The scented pods stay sealed — there’s no reason to open them.

Only the Decoy Yummy Pod and Handler Pod are meant to be opened.

How do I store the pods?


However you want! There’s no need to keep them away from your dog — even in a scent-filled house, they’ll still pinpoint the right one.

I make every pod in my 1,300 sq. ft. home, and my dogs still find the source instantly.

We include tape and a baggie for beginners to make the scent lighter for dogs who need a gentler start.

Is this safe for my dog? Can my dog chew or swallow it?


Yes — Geo-Sniffing pods are built for safety and durability.

They’re large enough that big dogs can’t swallow them and easy for handlers to spot during missions.

Your dog can mouth or carry the pod, but it’s not designed for unsupervised chewing.

I can’t play consistently — is that a problem?

Not at all. Once your dog learns how Geo-Sniffing works, they don’t forget. Whether you play every day or once a week, your dog will jump right back in, ready to sniff and search. You don’t lose progress — it’s like riding a bike, but with a nose.

Do I need a fully trained dog to real world Geo-Sniff?

Not at all. Geo-Sniffing is a two person sport. While your pup is learning, you can use the map to find pods yourself. Most dogs catch on in just a few sessions, and the map keeps you exploring together from day one.

How does this compare to toys or puzzles?

Puzzle toys tend to become repetitive once your dog figures them out. Geo-Sniffing is dynamic — each hide is different based on your home, yard, or environment. In fact, clutter and lived-in spaces are a good thing — they create fresh hiding spots and unpredictable scent trails.
